Invantive Business for Outlook is an add-in on top of Microsoft Outlook. It shows the same business data as [[Invantive Business for Windows]], next to the message being read, so that the party a message comes from can be looked up without leaving Outlook. The add-in reaches the same platforms through the same [[Business Drivers|Business drivers]]: - Exact Online; - Visma.net; - XML audit files; - the sample data which ships with the product. ## How It Differs from the Application The data and the vocabulary are the same; the window is not. The add-in lives in the ribbon of Outlook and shows one subject at a time, where the application shows a tree next to a list. The two share the configuration folder of the device, so a database defined for one is available to the other, and the credentials in the [[Invantive Keychain]] are shared as well. ## Installation The add-in is downloaded from [Invantive Business for Outlook](https://go.invantive.com/download/invantive-business-for-outlook) and installs itself into Microsoft Outlook. Outlook has to be closed during the installation.
