Invantive Business for Windows opens the log on window at start-up, once a licence has been registered as described in [[Invantive UniversalSQL/General/License Registration|License Registration]]. The window is the same in the other Invantive products for Microsoft Windows. ![[20260809-business-log-on.png]] Logging on runs as follows: - Choose the database under "Database". The databases of the group "Invantive Business" are the ones this product works with; the number behind the group name is how many there are. - Fill out the properties of the data container of the chosen database. Which properties appear depends on the platform: Exact Online asks for credentials, an XML audit file for the directory holding it, and the sample database for nothing at all. - Tick "Automatically Connect" to let a next start log on to this database without the window appearing. - Choose "Connect". The databases come from the [[Settings]] file in the configuration folder, which is shared with the other Invantive products on the device. A device on which no database has been defined yet searches for the platforms it can reach at first start, which is where the group "Invantive Business" comes from. The star in front of a database adds it to the favourites; see [[Favorite Databases]]. ## Databases of Invantive Business The group holds one database per Exact Online country, next to a database on an XML audit file, one on Visma.net and the sample database. Which of them are usable depends on the licence and on the credentials available. The description under the tree states what the chosen database offers, and is repeated next to the data container below it. The spanner at the bottom left opens the diagnostics window, which reports what the device, the licence and the installation say; see [[Invantive UniversalSQL/General/Diagnostics|Diagnostics]]. It is reachable before logging on, since logging on is what often fails.
