"General Ledger Transactions" holds the financial transactions, read from `BUS_GL_TRANSACTIONS_R`. A transaction is one booking as a whole; its [[General Ledger Transaction Lines|lines]] hold the amounts. The list carries the company, the code of the transaction, its date and the journal it belongs to, as a code and a name: ![[20260903-business-general-ledger-transactions.png]] The transaction is the shorter of the two lists, since a transaction holds at least two lines and often many more.
