A list which opens with its columns in place but holds no rows is the normal answer of a platform which does not hold that data. It is not an error and no message is shown.
Three causes account for nearly every case:
- The platform does not know the subject. An XML audit file is a financial export and holds no people, articles, warehouses or projects; see [[XML Audit File]].
- The company chosen holds no such rows. Choosing "All" in "Company" shows whether another company does; see [[Choose a Company]].
- A filter is still set on a column of the list. Clearing it brings the rows back; see [[Sort and Filter a List]].
Where the platform is known to hold the data and none of the three applies, "Refresh" on the bar under the list fetches it again, which rules out data fetched before it existed.
