"Preferences" opens the settings which hold for Invantive Composition for Word and for the other Invantive products on the device. They are grouped in tabs. ## Filter - "Your name": the name under which the user is known. - "Report date": the date the data is reported as at. This is what makes a template produce the figures of last month instead of today's, without the template being changed. It applies only when it is ticked. ## Preferences - "Language": the language of the user interface, chosen from the languages available. The change takes effect as soon as the window is closed. ## Statistics Four read-only facts about logging on, useful when a log on is refused unexpectedly: - "First login date" and "Last login date": when the user first and last logged on successfully. - "Last failed login try": when someone last failed to log on with this log on code. - "Number of subsequent failed login attempts": how many failures have followed one another since the last success.
