# Installing Invantive Control for Excel Invantive Control for Excel is installed on a Windows computer by following these steps: - Run the installation file ‘setup.exe’ and then click the ‘Install’ button. The file is located in the Invantive Control for Excel folder. This installation folder is provided by Invantive.  - Once the installation is complete, the screen below will appear.  - Next, launch Microsoft Excel to use Invantive Control for Excel. After launching Excel, this window will appear. Here, you must specify the location of the connection file. Then click ‘OK’ to save the change.  - Click on the “Invantive Control for Excel” tab in the ribbon and then click on the “Connect” button to establish a connection to the server.
