# Show Trace You can use the ![](img/eca-cp-debug.png) “Show Trace” function to analyse any errors in the operations of Invantive Control for Excel. The window is only displayed if the “Show Trace” button is enabled; see [Model Developer User Interface](invantive-control-user-interface-model-developer).
