Get My Report consists of a menu of small apps, also named "modules". Each module performs one well-defined task on the data of the connected platform, such as Exact Online. Modules are grouped in the menu into categories: - **Standard Reports**: read-only downloads of data, typically as an Excel workbook or a ZIP file with documents. The data is retrieved real-time from the platform; no copy of the data is kept. - **Standard Database Updates**: modules that change data on the platform, such as mass uploads of journal entries or recalculation of sales prices. Update modules typically require an explicit confirmation such as an "Apply Changes" check box before any change is made. In addition to the standard modules, customer-specific modules can be made available. Custom modules only appear in the menu of the users of the associated customer. Custom modules can be ordered through the "Request Quote for Extension or Custom Solution" module or [Invantive Sales](mailto:[email protected]). Each module is identified by a unique preset code such as `gmr-eol-balances`. The preset code is visible in the URL when a module has been selected and is used in the module documentation topics. Parameter values can have defaults, such as the current financial year, and can offer a list of allowed values, such as the list of accessible Exact Online companies.
