Invantive Query Tool Multi-Platform accepts the following command line arguments: - `/license-key:<KEY>`: register and use the licence key provided instead of the licence registered on the device. The same key can be provided through the environment variable `INVANTIVE_LICENSE_KEY`; the command line argument takes precedence. - `--gui-only`: start the user interface without starting the engine. No licence is checked and no database can be opened. Intended for diagnosis of start-up problems. - `--no-tm`: start without syntax highlighting in the SQL editor. Intended for diagnosis of problems with keyboard input in the editor. - `--diag`: report window activation, keyboard focus and editor contents continuously on the status bar. Intended for diagnosis of problems with keyboard input. The arguments are not case sensitive and can be provided in any order. Messages about problems during start-up are written to the error output of the terminal, so start the product from a terminal when it does not come up. The behaviour of the product is influenced further by the [[Environment Variables]] shared with the other Invantive products, such as the location of the [[Folders|configuration folders]] and the [[UI Language|languages allowed for the user interface]].
